Dragon Kingdom
                                               
                                                             Chapter 2


Young 10 year old  Ryu was running around the village looking for something to do. He had a little meeting with the Dragon Lord in his cave saying something about training or so. Ryu did NOT like the Dragon Lord of course he never say it out loud, but something wasn't right about Kindor. Dragons always said he would do great things. “yeah right.” he muttered to himself. He slowed down to a trot and saw that he was in a part of the village he's never been to.


The trees looked dead, dragon caves were collapsed, and it looked abandoned.... there's a shadow over by that cave. Ryu crept closer and soon he saw a tail with purple stripes on it. Even closer and he saw the skinniest dragon he's ever saw, you could see and count the ribs. The dragon looked like he was searching for something to eat in one of the dead trees. “Hellooo.” said Ryu.


“AHHHH!!!!!!” screamed the startled dragon. He jumped and ran around to the other side of the cave.


“Oops” Ryu went to the other side of the cave to see the cowering dragon trying to hide. “I'm sorry if I scared you” he called out to the dragon. The dragon turn around to face Ryu.


“Y-you don't want to hurt me?” he asked, scared.


“No,why would I to hurt you?” Ryu asked back.


“Everyone wants to hurt me and no one gives me food” he answered sadly.


“Thats so horrible, why would anybody do that!?” Ryu asked, sad for the dragon.


“I don't know, I ask for food and they start yelling at me and try to hurt me”


“So that's why your here, so no one can find and hurt you” The dragon nodded head. “Do you want to be friends?” Ryu asked.

“What's a friend?”


“Ummmm, I guess someone who will always stick by each other.” Ryu answered truthfully.


“So you will always help me.”


“Yeah! Oh yeah my name's Ryu, whats yours?”


“I don't have a name.”


“Really!? Well let me see...... how 'bout Groshin?”


“Groshin? What does it mean?”


“It's a word I made up, it mean 'Great One'.”


“Ok, hello Ryu my name's Groshin.” Groshin was happy to have someone nice to him.
